About The Position

REO Plastics, Inc. is a progressive, ISO certified Custom Injection Molding Company that has been in business for 60 years serving several markets in the Manufacturing Industry. We are currently looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, hard-working individual to join our growing Company as a Material Handler. We also pay out a profit-sharing bonus twice a year - when profits permit, of one or two weeks' pay, in June and December! We have 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities!! We are Currently Offering a $1500 Hiring Bonus. The Material Handler will provide a constant flow of raw material to injection presses in the Production area and any auxiliary equipment to achieve maximum productivity.

Requirements

• Must understand 5-S and Lean Manufacturing concept.
• Must have knowledge of plastic product material handling.
• Must be able to drive a forklift.
• Attention to Detail
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Must have an aptitude for basic math.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
• Ability to take direction from Supervisors/Manager
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Must be able to sit, walk, or stand for eight hours.

Responsibilities

• Mix resin as directed.
• Place grinder at each press.
• Have material and auxiliary equipment properly tagged for use.
• Pull and clean hoppers and grinders at job's completion.
• Monitor dryers as needed.
• Must be able to set-up and troubleshoot all material auxiliary equipment.
• Keep work areas clean and safe.
• Use 5-S suggestion form for set-up, process, or other improvements.
