About The Position
Quanex is looking for a Material Handler to join their team in Brampton, ON. This position is responsible for performing basic material handling duties including locating, weighing, counting, and packaging parts, while ensuring quality and inventory accuracy, and following all safety procedures in a warehouse or production environment under the direction of a supervisor.
Requirements
- At least 1 years of experience of warehouse experience.
- Able to lift 35 lbs consistently.
- Ability to read work instructions and labels.
- Able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Locate, weigh and count parts.
- Prepare skids and package parts.
- Effectively operate the scale to assure proper inventory materials.
- Assists in physical inventories.
- Assists in inspecting defects in products for quality.
- Follow all safety procedures, rules and guidelines; and notify supervisor/team lead of any existing or potential safety issues
- Responsible for attending work on time and for scheduled hours each day.
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
