Requirements

  • High School Diploma/ GED
  • Minimum 2 years of experience

  • Experience of material handling or prior warehouse experience preferred.
  • Seeks efficiency in systems/processes.
  • Manages own time under general supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Oracle experience preferred.
  • Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
  • Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach within hands and arm’s length, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to handle and lift up to 25lbs as needed for specific job functions.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Needs to work well under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Understands material movement/inventory levels and completes timely processing of assigned tasks.
  • Processes stock transfers, material requests and put-away.
  • Loads and/or unloads trucks as required.
  • May operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or other equipment with appropriate training and/or certification.
  • May assist and train associates with on-the-job training.
  • Understands and uses the ERP system for material management activity.
  • Utilizes root cause analysis to research material movement and resolve discrepancies.
  • Performs cycle counting.
  • Participates in continuous improvement initiatives which include warehouse material flow systems and procedures.
  • Seeks efficiency in system and process gaps and elevates awareness to management.
  • Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration.
  • Promotes a positive work environment.
  • Participate in on-the-job training for warehouse and manufacturing processes, corporate policies, safety procedures, GMP, ISO Standards as defined by supervisor.
  • Adheres to all environmental, health and safety SOP’s, equipment, policies and procedures, including any department specific requirements.
  • Serves on safety, quality and other committees, if applicable.
  • Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes and task assignments.
