About The Position
This position is responsible for keeping operations supplied with material and ensuring good work flow and materials delivery throughout the plant. Operating a sitting and/ or standing forklift, pallet jacks, hoists and other tools this person will maintain inventory or raw, semi-finished and finished goods. This includes recording production information in our business operation software. This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned with compliant safe work practices.
Requirements
- 1+ years of reach truck experience
- Experience operating a sitting and/or standing forklift, pallet jacks, hoists and other tools
- Ability to record production information in business operation software
- Ability to perform other duties as assigned with compliant safe work practices
- Ability to maintain inventory accuracy
- Ability to maintain safe working conditions in the department
- Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures
- Ability to ensure accurate paperwork, labelling, packaging and material transactions
- Ability to follow detailed written specifications
- Ability to record data for entry in the SAP system
- Ability to perform general housekeeping and maintain safe working conditions in the department
- Ability to perform in-process inspection
- Ability to transport materials between work centers and the warehouse
