About The Position

The purpose of this job is to load and unload parts off trucks, place parts in the proper area of the shipping and receiving department and take parts to and from the production lines. This role involves driving and operating forklifts, loading/unloading trucks, delivering parts from the warehouse to the dock, picking up completions from the lines and delivering to the finished goods warehouse, and bringing materials from the warehouse to the lines. Responsibilities also include verifying tags on skids against system picks or movements, moving and stacking material for the lines, and maintaining the dock area in a neat and orderly manner. The role requires transferring parts and orders interdepartmentally, ensuring proper documentation, and potentially coming into contact with hazardous chemicals. Environmental responsibility, including proper disposal of waste (recyclables, standard waste, hazardous waste), is expected. Any other tasks as required to fulfill Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers may also be assigned.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.
Must be able to clearly understand material tracking documents and communicate verbally with line personnel on a daily basis.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Must be able to drive a forklift.

Responsibilities
