About The Position

This role is responsible for various warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, quality control, safety, and maintenance. The Material Handler will ensure accurate receiving of shipments, proper storage of inventory, efficient order picking and packing, and timely preparation of outbound shipments. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is also a key aspect of this position.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Ability to physically lift boxes.

Responsibilities

• Unload and inspect incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy of the delivered goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Store products in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and rotation to minimize damage and spoilage.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company guidelines and customer requirements.
• Prepare shipping documents and labels, and load outbound shipments onto delivery vehicles.
• Inspect products for defects or discrepancies, and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized, including disposing of waste and maintaining equipment.
