About The Position

Operate forklift equipment to transport materials throughout the warehouse. Accurately pick and count product from storage locations for production. Put away finished or raw materials into designated storage locations. Utilize handheld RF scanners and warehouse management systems to complete daily transactions and maintain inventory accuracy. Support the palletization, preparation, and staging of finished goods pallets to meet customer and shipping requirements. Organize finished goods pallets by customer and shipment requirements; accurately measure, weigh, and record pallet dimensions and shipment information to support transportation planning and ensure a smooth handoff to the Shipping department. Retrieve and remove empty returnable containers, pallets, and other packaging materials from storage locations. Move product for consolidation based on Inventory Control guidance. Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, and operational issues to Lead, Supervisors and Inventory Control personnel. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all safety and OSHA guidelines to ensure all safety requirements are met. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • If no previous forklift experience, must be willing to be trained on various forklift equipment.
  • Must be able to successfully pass forklift training program during initial onboarding period.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 1 year of warehouse/distribution center/manufacturing experience.
  • Minimum of 3 months of forklift experience.
  • Experience using sit-down, cherry picker, and swing mast forklift equipment.
  • Previous experience with SAP.
