About The Position

The Material Handler is responsible for placing incoming orders on shelves, monitoring inventory, and ensuring efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse. This role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, receiving and storing raw materials, and safely operating necessary equipment. The Material Handler will also correct inventory inaccuracies, conduct physical inventory cycle counts and location audits, pull raw material from stock for delivery to departments, and stock received material while ensuring part location information is entered into computer records. The position also includes performing other duties as assigned to support successful operations and business continuity.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Successfully passes background check, pre-employment drug screening, and any pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
  • In-person, predictable attendance in Ponca City, OK.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent certificate.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Be detail oriented.
  • Reliable and willing to work on weekends if needed.
  • Regularly required to lift heavy objects; therefore, the Material Handler must be able to lift 49 lbs. independently and 50-100 lbs. with a team lift.
  • Wear company mandated and issued personal protective equipment (PPE) (long-sleeve shirt/jeans, steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear protection, and gloves) and must strictly adhere to all safety policies.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Receive and store raw material.

  • Correct any inventory inaccuracies discovered when pulling material.
  • Conduct physical inventory cycle counts and location audits to determine the accuracy of inventory balances.
  • Pull raw material from stock and deliver to the required department.
  • Stock received material and provide part location information to be entered into the computer records.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
