About The Position

As a Material Handler, you’ll be part of our warehouse production team located in Hesston, KS. You’ll get to perform various duties to support the warehouse operations. This role focuses on safety, quality, and the achievement of specific objectives within the production environment. You will be responsible for operating forklifts, stocking and delivering parts, counting parts, driving trucks, crushing cardboard, and handling parts by hand. You will also be responsible for scanning and updating parts in Freedom and attending meetings to collaborate on handling parts and other tasks.

Requirements

  • Ability to follow the orders of a supervisor or Op Ex Lead
  • Material Handling procedures
  • Lift truck operators permit
  • Familiar with names and numbers of parts and materials, inventory control, computer entry
  • Safely manage and move materials

  • Operate Forklift (Approx. 60%)
  • Stock and deliver Parts by Hand (Approx. 60%)
  • Count Parts (Approx. 60%)
  • Drive Truck (Approx. 60%)
  • Crush Cardboard (Approx. 60%)
  • Drive Yard Truck (Approx. 60%)
  • Handle Parts by Hand to stock and move parts. (Approx. 20%)
  • Scan and Update Parts in Freedom (Approx. 10%)
  • Attend meetings and work with Op Ex Lead for handling parts and other tasks. (Approx. 10%)
  • Focus on safety, quality, and achievement of specific/exact objectives
