Requirements

  • SAP experience preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand shipping and packing lists, etc
  • Must have adequate computer skills to comprehend and operate related automated systems
  • Strong attention to detail including accurate cycle counting skills
  • Heavy lifting, driving a forklift and handling pallet jacks
  • Possess outstanding customer service and communication skills.
  • Possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Know of, be able to apply and practice safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment.
  • Be able to learn to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment in use at the warehouse.
  • Be able to learn and operate the computer-related systems used for warehouse operations.
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English. (bi-lingual is a plus)
  • Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for proper movement of all materials
  • Accurate issuing and stocking of production lines
  • Cycle counting of raw materials as required
  • Proper picking and loading of finished goods
  • Assures finished goods are accurately loaded and handled with care
  • Assures manufacturing loads are accurate and properly combined
  • Assures scrap material is properly weighed and prepared for pick up
  • Safe operation of forklifts, electric pallet jacks, etc.
  • Other related duties as assigned
