About The Position

The Material Handler position is responsible for various warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping. This role requires safe operation of warehouse equipment and adherence to safety protocols to ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment safely (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).

Responsibilities

• Unload and inspect incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Store products in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and rotation.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company guidelines and customer requirements.
• Prepare shipping documents and labels, and load outbound shipments onto delivery vehicles.
• Inspect products for defects or discrepancies and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized, including disposing of waste and maintaining equipment.
