About The Position
As a Material Handler, you will operate a swing-mast forklift to pick finished goods, prepare customer shipments, and load outbound trucks safely and accurately. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient and correct handling of materials within our facility.
Requirements
- Experience with forklifts.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work on feet for long periods.
- Attention to detail and reliable work habits.
- Basic computer or scanner skills.
Responsibilities
- Pick products from racking using swing-mast equipment.
- Verify order accuracy and stage materials for shipment.
- Prepare pallets and apply labels.
- Load trucks safely and efficiently.
- Use scanners or WMS to record picks and movements.
- Perform daily equipment checks and report issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety procedures.
- Report inventory discrepancies or damaged goods.
