About The Position

Double Good is a leading fundraising app and technology company that helps youth organizations raise funds by selling popcorn. The company is experiencing significant growth and is looking for a Material Handler to join their team at their Burr Ridge production facility. This role is responsible for safely operating stand-up forklifts to manage materials within warehouses, production areas, and shipping docks.

Requirements

High School diploma, GED, or other relevant work experience
Minimum 1 year prior experience and certification on a forklift
The ability to lift and/or carry up to 50lbs of materials
Current authorization to work in the United States. We do not provide visa sponsorship, including support for F-1 Optional Practical Training (OPT), STEM OPT extensions, or other temporary work authorization programs.

Nice To Haves

Experience safely operating a stand-up forklift a plus (will train on-site)
Lean Manufacturing experience (5S / Six Sigma)
Experience working with a WMS, ERP, or other inventory management system
OSHA or other formal safety training

Responsibilities

Operate a stand-up forklift truck in a warehouse environment with pedestrians and other forklift trucks
Keep the order picking lines operational with timely product restocks
Accurately receive and safely put away inbound finished goods and supply deliveries
Track inventory with RF scanners and Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Ensure proper stock rotation and First-In First-Out (FIFO) process
Train on the Burr Ridge receiving process
