About The Position

Accuray is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. This role is crucial in managing rework processes, including shipping materials for repair, and supporting overall warehouse operations such as receiving, storing, distributing, and fulfilling orders. The company focuses on developing and manufacturing radiotherapy systems for cancer treatments, aiming to make treatments shorter, safer, personalized, and more effective, ultimately improving patients' lives.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of shipping, receiving, stock room control experience using a computerized inventory system.
  • Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and safe driving record.
  • Inventory control, work order kitting and cycle counting knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to resolve issues with other departments.
  • International shipment preparation and tracking knowledge required.
  • Must be organized and have attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work a physically active position with frequent climbing of ladders, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
  • Experience with safety and quality system requirements (OSHA, FDA, ISO).
  • Must be able to furnish proof that they are authorized to work in the country they are applying on a permanent basis without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Fork Lift and pallet jack operation training /certification preferred.
  • Experience driving box truck.

Responsibilities

  • Manages inter-company movements utilizing a company truck.
  • Maintains inventory and coordinates with key stakeholders to ensure appropriate delivery times.
  • Receives shipments into the company database and forwards paperwork to accounting.
  • Maintains receiving logs and paperwork files.
  • Researches and resolves receiving problems with the carrier and/or Buyer/Planners.
  • Routes materials to IQA and other locations using Material Transfer forms and transactions.
  • Maintains stockroom, loading dock and oversize material stocking locations.
  • Stocks and cycle counts materials on hand and reports on inventory accuracy.
  • Assemble work order kits and issue materials to the production floor as needed.
  • Reviews inventory of excess and obsolete items, disposes items as needed.
  • Prepares items and documents for outbound shipment.
  • Coordinates carrier pickups and executes shipment documentation.
  • Follows safety, health and quality requirements and performs other duties as assigned.
