About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and equipment within the production environment. The Material Handler will manage material supply to presses, handle material returns, and assist with inventory management. This role also involves recycling materials and maintaining a safe and organized warehouse.

Requirements

• Ability to locate material and equipment needed for each job.
• Ability to maintain material flow to presses.
• Ability to remove material and equipment from completed jobs.
• Ability to issue and return material as instructed.
• Ability to supply material to all jobs as assigned.
• Ability to grind bottles for recycle and use for production.
• Ability to unload incoming material and store in proper place in warehouse.
• Ability to obtain cycle counts.
• Ability to periodically check for unsafe conditions and correct as needed.

Responsibilities

• Locate material and equipment needed for each job.
• Maintain material flow to presses (keep an eye on material flow through resin lines & hoppers, replace bags/gaylords of resin).
• Remove material and equipment from completed jobs.
• Issue and return material as instructed.
• Supply material to all jobs as assigned.
• Grind bottles for recycle and use for production.
• Unload incoming material and store in proper place in warehouse.
• Obtain cycle counts.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Periodically check for unsafe conditions and correct as needed.
