About The Position

Haumiller Engineering is a 100% employee-owned company that designs and builds custom high-speed automation assembly machines for medical devices, consumer goods and industrial manufacturing. We have an exciting opportunity for a Material Handler in our Belvidere, IL facility. The Material Handler is responsible for moving products to their designated locations within the facility. Additional responsibilities include helping with skidding and crating of machines and driving company vehicles to pick up and deliver materials locally. This position is located at our Belvidere, IL facility.

Requirements

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent preferred
• Valid Illinois driver license and must maintain a good driving record
• Knowledge of the Chicago and surrounding Suburban roads
• Lean manufacturing experience
• Ability to use a variety of material handling equipment, including a forklift

Responsibilities

• Fulfill order or delivery tickets
• Promptly retrieve items from storage when needed
• Maintain the correct stock levels per the stock list
• Store & retrieve customer supplied components
• Use a variety of computer software to fulfill responsibilities
• Moving products to their designated locations within the facility
• Helping with skidding and crating of machines
• Driving company vehicles to pick up and deliver materials locally
