About The Position

The Material Handler is responsible for receiving and checking in freight, following 5S standards, and entering data into company systems. Employees may work at different stations or rotate between areas based on staffing, production demands, experience, training, and skill level. The role may require certification to operate Mules, Tuggers, Powered Industrial Trucks, Stackers, and/or Overhead Cranes. This is an on-site role scheduled Monday through Thursday from 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. The position is identified in the posting as safety sensitive, although a separate safety-sensitive section states that the role is not safety sensitive.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 35 pounds as requested.
• Ability to read and write English to understand assembly directions, work order packets, and safety instructions.
• Completion of basic Forklift Training and Safety Orientation.
• Three to six months of material handling experience.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to keep up with high volume in a fast-moving environment.
• Good verbal communication and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work in a team setting and demonstrate a positive work attitude.

Responsibilities
