About The Position

ADM is seeking a Material Handler to work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve efficient shipping of finished product and receiving of incoming materials. This role involves developing positive working relationships with truck drivers and serving as a liaison between trucking companies and Revela Foods personnel. The position requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, along with basic computer knowledge.

  • Knowledge of and ability to follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Awareness of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and its importance.
  • Follow all Safe Quality Food (SQF) guidelines.
  • Required to report food safety problems or concerns immediately to a person with authority to initiate action as indicated on the organizational chart.
  • Be aware of and follow up to date OSHA regulations that apply to the tasks in your job.
  • Be aware of your surroundings, watching for forklift traffic and trip hazards such as pallets or cords when entering the production area.
  • Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when entering the production area.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Ship out finished product and receive incoming ingredients.
  • Perform trailer inspections for all incoming and outgoing loads.
  • Conduct an inspection on all items being received to verify shipment (F-SR007 Incoming Material Inspection Form).
  • Record any damage and notify purchasing so a complaint can be filed.
  • Monitor truck drivers, trucker waiting areas, office and loading docks.
  • Schedule appointments for all incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Attach certificates of analysis (COAs) to all incoming receiving reports.
  • Save and e-mail COAs to customer for outgoing shipments.
  • Check ingredients for tampering.
  • Create ingredient pallet labels and label received ingredients with ingredient pallet labels.
  • Monitor signed paperwork from forklift operators.
  • Complete all incoming and outgoing bill of ladings.
  • Track all incoming and finished materials per lot and weight.
  • Prepare shipping documents.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts.
  • Work with ADM Logistics to book trucks for pickups.
  • Learn Third party warehouse portal to book pickups and delivers.
  • Provide paperwork to the third party warehouse in timely matter.
  • Report any suspicious activity related to food defense.
