Material Handler - Weekend Shift
About The Position
This role is responsible for various material handling tasks within a factory, shop, or hanger environment. Key responsibilities include adhering to general work requirements, complying with safety and environmental policies, and participating in 5-S activities. The Material Handler will perform all work safely and efficiently, focusing on receiving and inspecting incoming and outgoing materials, distributing parts and equipment according to aircraft delivery schedules, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This position also involves assisting with shipments, executing purchase orders and work orders, ensuring proper storage and packaging of items, and handling customer-owned property.
Requirements

- Receiving and visually inspecting incoming/outgoing materials for damage
- Distributing parts, materials, tools, and ground support equipment according to aircraft delivery schedules
- Verifying and reconciling documentation for incoming/outgoing parts and materials
- Maintaining accurate inventory using computerized/manual systems
- Assisting in loading/unloading shipments
- Executing AOG purchase orders and Repair Station Work Orders
- Ensuring proper storage and packaging of items for shipment
- Proper handling of Customer Owned Property

Responsibilities
- Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and / or Hanger positions)
- Comply with environmental health / safety policies / procedures
- Participate in 5-S activities
- Perform all work in a safe and timely manner
- Receive / visually inspect all incoming and outgoing materials for physical damage (BAS Only)
- Distribute parts, materials, tools and ground support equipment with regard to aircraft delivery schedules
- May assist in ordering parts if required (BAS only)
- Verify and reconcile appropriate documentation on incoming and outgoing parts and materials
- Maintain accurate inventory (via cycle counts, perpetual, work-in-progress) using computerized / manual systems to include purchased parts, manufactured parts, materials, tools, etc.
- Assist in loading / unloading shipments
- Execute timely Aircraft-On-the-Ground (AOG) purchase orders and Repair Station Work Orders
- Ensure proper storage and packaging of all items for shipment per requirements (i.e., export compliance, hazmat shipping, parts protections and A/C schedule)
- Proper handling of Customer Owned Property (Green tag units – Commercial only)
