About The Position

The Material Handler is responsible for supplying operators/machines with necessary materials for order fulfillment and transporting and scanning Work-In-Progress (WIP) and finished products into the warehouse. This role requires maintaining a safe working environment and quality standards, providing supplies to the automation area, operating machines as needed to cover breaks, creating production labels, scanning out materials, and completing line clearances. The position also involves practicing good housekeeping and adhering to applicable Food Safety and cGMP policies.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a high paced environment
Ability to develop a routine and adapt to changing business needs
Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe working environment and quality standards
Supply color, liner, WIP, etc to staging area
Scan and locate WIP and finished goods into the warehouse
Provide supplies to the automation area
Operate machines as needed to give breaks
Create production labels
Scan out materials
Complete line clearances
Practice good housekeeping
Follow applicable Food Safety and cGMP policies
All other duties as assigned.
