About The Position

Elite Comfort Solutions, a Leggett & Platt Company, is hiring a Material Handler to move and mark finished goods and scrap foam from various machinery and departments. The role supports production and shipping operations by positioning foam on pallets, moving materials and products throughout the operation, and assisting in the wrapping department as needed. This position is identified as second shift.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities. A high school diploma or GED is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Material handling experience is preferred. The role calls for consistent attendance, attention to detail, accuracy, productivity, safe work practices, and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist operations areas by positioning foam onto pallets for production or shipping.
• Move empty flats to the ends of conveyor lines.
• Unload leftover foam blocks from conveyors.
• Move finished and unfinished products throughout the operation as needed.
• Ensure all flats of material have tickets.
• Use hand trucks, buggies, or other material handling equipment.
• Assist in the wrapping department as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
