About The Position

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Material Handler. This position will be responsible for sorting and preparing shipments, skilled in scanning technologies. Also committed to error-free order fulfillment and contributing to a positive team atmosphere. This will be a 2nd shift position. Material Handlers use their organizational skills to ensure items are packed efficiently and safely on flatbeds or containers. Their goal is to load the most items for transport to serve clients who rely on warehouse shipments. This role is located in Tulsa, OK.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Some shipping experience preferred.
• Understanding of computer systems.
• Organization.
• Ability to lift objects.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols.
• Good communication skills written and verbal.
• Time-management.

Nice To Haves

• Warehouse management system experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, safe, organized work area.
• Daily shipping schedule attainment.
• Ability to operate lifting and packaging machinery.
• Sort and prepare shipments.
• Ensure items are packed efficiently and safely on flatbeds or containers.
• Load the most items for transport.
