A Material Handler (pick/pack/ship) performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering a variety of materials, equipment, and supplies. This role executes foundational tasks within a warehouse environment including but not limited to: packaging, unpackaging, put away, sorting, staging, picking, shipping, and preparing units for production. The Material Handler will cut open boxed inventory, place open boxes on the appropriate shelf of the flow rack, walk the length of the flow rack, and wrap cords neatly and securely, ensuring they are tangle-free. They will also assist with labeling, tagging, or color-coding wrapped cords as needed for easy identification. The position requires consistently meeting or surpassing daily production and quality goals, completing required paperwork accurately and promptly, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and following warehouse safety regulations. Other duties may be assigned based on the business the warehouse supports.
