About The Position

Kinsley Steel is seeking a full-time Material Handler for their 2nd shift. This role involves preparing structural steel for painting and assisting with loading and unloading steel from trucks. The position offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects within a dynamic team, contributing to the production process from fabricating metal components to constructing steel frameworks. Kinsley Steel has been delivering quality steel since 1985 and specializes in structural steel design, engineering, detailing, fabrication, erection, and retrofit.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience using overhead cranes.
• Ability to maintain a positive work atmosphere and communicate effectively with coworkers, clients, and supervisors.
• Work in compliance with Kinsley's safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to work a 2nd shift schedule, including overtime and Saturdays as needed.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to tolerate hot and cold working environments.
• Ability to stand on feet for up to 10 hours.
• Must be organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience painting and using paint sprayers to apply paint.

Responsibilities

• Paint and prepare structural steel.
• Assist with loading and unloading steel from trucks.
• Operate forklift as needed.
• Perform rigging work to move materials as required.
• Support the fabrication shop with other duties as required.
