About The Position

This is a temp-to-full-time position where the Material Handler will be responsible for moving castings through different phases of the process to their designated locations. The role also involves providing necessary racks, baskets, and containers to ensure production continuity. The job requires operating a forklift in busy areas, supporting the FPI process flow, covering breaks, and organizing materials both inside and outside the plant. Candidates must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.

Requirements

• Experience with operating a forklift.
• Comfortable in a high heat environment.
• Must be able to read and understand work instructions.
• Must be able to write and complete required paperwork and enter information into Plex system.
• Must have basic math skills - add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• The ability to stand for 8+ hours a day.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be willing to submit to a national background check.

Responsibilities

• Moves castings in different phases of the process to their designated location.
• Provides racks, baskets, and containers as needed to keep production moving.
• Operates a forklift in congested areas around people and equipment.
• Moves material throughout the facility to their designated location.
• Utilizes Plex System to move product within processes.
• Supports FPI process flow/covers breaks when assigned.
• Organizes empty containers and dunnage inside and outside the plant.
