About The Position

Westaff is hiring Material Handlers for the 3rd shift in Quincy, MA. This role involves accurately processing and fulfilling internal demo inventory requests, safely handling and moving materials within a controlled warehouse environment, and performing inventory adjustments in the warehouse management system. The Material Handler will maintain accurate documentation, adhere to SOPs and regulatory requirements, and support efficient warehouse operations through timely and precise material flow. Collaboration with leadership and team members, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and communicating with requesters are also key aspects of the role. This position requires lifting, standing, bending, reaching, and the use of computer devices, printers, and equipment such as pallet jacks. Preparing and packing demo orders for shipment is also a responsibility.

Requirements

1 - 2 years with high school diploma/degree/equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education/work experience

Responsibilities

Accurately process and fulfill internal demo inventory requests
Safely handle, transact, and move materials within a controlled warehouse environment
Perform inventory adjustments and transactions in the warehouse management system
Maintain accurate documentation and records to ensure audit readiness and compliance
Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements
Support efficient warehouse operations by ensuring timely and precise material flow
Uphold Quality Policy in all daily activities
Collaborate with warehouse leadership and team members to resolve discrepancies and meet operational needs
Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper handling practices at all times
Lifting, standing, bending, reaching, required
Use of computer devices, printers, product handling device-pallet jacks, other equipment as required
Communicate via email to requesters to provide updates on order status
Update and monitor Inventory Request Tool
Prepare and pack demo orders to be shipped
Performs other duties as required
