About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Seasonal Material Handler. In this role, you will be responsible for operating powered equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count product. You will also be responsible for checking all inbound and outbound products, ensuring they are free of damage and infestation, that product code dates are properly recorded, and that products match customer requirements. Requirements

• Ability to spend 20% of time physically loading product onto equipment, pallets or totes.
• Working knowledge of warehouse management system equipment
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work specified shifts
• Ability to understand and follow work procedures and safety rules
• Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions
• Ability to identify and locate products which requires reading, counting, accurately performing simple calculations
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Forklift certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program is required within the first 30 days of employment

Nice To Haves

• Six months warehouse experience
• Six months forklift operation experience

Responsibilities

• Physically load product onto equipment, pallets or totes more than 20% of specified shift.
• Put-away and pick product for shipment or stock.
• Insure the exact number and type of products, ordered by the customer, are checked and loaded correctly.
• Compare the quantity, quality, labeling, and address with the customer’s order to ensure outgoing product shipments are complete and correct.
• Changes equipment battery or LP tank and monitors power power source as necessary.
• Verify and report discrepancies such as non-available products and OS&D.
• Maintain the facility and the facility’s equipment in a neat, clean, orderly fashion.
• Inspect all operated equipment daily.
• Complete daily inspection of equipment.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management and the customer.

Benefits

• Pay: $21.25 Per hour
• Additional Incentives: Earn an additional $1.50 per hour when assigned heavy lifting responsibilities
