About The Position

The role of the Warehouse Associate and Material Handler is to work in a high-performance work organization on a cross functional team that utilizes the employee’s ability to perform multiple tasks and work within a team environment. Candidates need to be cooperative and willing to apply their skills and rotate positions on a regular basis to make the team successful.

Requirements

• Excellent Attendance

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Ability to use power tools and hand tools
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Display an attitude of continuous improvement and problem-solving
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must be able stand the entire shift
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Work safely and follow safety rules and procedures.
• Read, understand, and follow production schedules.
• Gather materials as needed according to the production schedule and sales order.
• Communicate effectively with shop leads for flow of product through the plant.
• Maintain production information and documentation as appropriate.
• Perform housekeeping duties such as 5S.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned such as being flexible to cross train and be used in multiple areas and departments.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
