This position will be based at the BorgWarner Arden facility in Western North Carolina and will transition to a new facility in Hendersonville, NC. This position will transport material or other goods in such a way as to allow the continuous flow of products throughout the facility.

Requirements

  • Licensed to operate forklift.
  • Must have previous experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Minimum of two years of related experience supporting manufacturing operations.
  • Must be computer literate and have the ability to perform basic MS Windows / SAP operating tasks.
  • Attendance on the job is essential.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to follow instructions, safety rules and regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Unload/Load trucks
  • Verify quantity loading/unloading is accurate.
  • Ensure paperwork and labelling is correct.
  • Scan parts for receipt/delivery as required.
  • Stage material for put away/pickup.
  • Reviews assembly build requirements.
  • Picks and stages parts for delivery to the production areas in such a manner that ensures that the correct quantity of the part is delivered to the correct place.
  • Delivers material from the warehouse to the production areas and vice versa.
  • Provides support to the decant areas.
  • Drives forklift or operates other power equipment to transport a variety of materials, parts, or products.
  • Use SAP to put away parts and to pick them from warehouse locations.
  • Notifies supervisor regarding inventory shortages/discrepancies.
  • Stacks materials in designated area.
  • Understands and adheres to current health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Communicate and enforce safe work procedures.
  • Identify and close safety issues (suggestions, inspection and investigation findings) and their corrective actions.
  • Understands and adheres to current quality and control policies.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
