About The Position
This role is responsible for the safe and timely movement of materials to production areas to prevent downtime. The Material Handler will operate forklift trucks, ensure containers are correctly labeled, maintain inventory accuracy, and adhere to 5S housekeeping standards. Additionally, this position involves optimizing space utilization and improving material delivery efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Safely move materials to production areas on time to avoid downtime.
- Safely operate forklift trucks and report accidents and unsafe areas immediately.
- Follow procedures and practices for daily forklift checks and report any safety failures promptly.
- Check containers are labeled properly with correct part numbers and quantities.
- Maintain and consolidate racks and inventory to maximize space.
- Maintain inventory accuracy in assigned areas and report any inaccuracies to inventory promptly.
- Pull oldest products and partial containers first to rotate inventory.
- Maintain housekeeping and appearance to the 5S standards for assigned areas and common areas of the production floor.
- Find ways to maximize space constraints on the production floor and storage areas.
- Find ways to deliver materials to production floor work areas with less effort.
- Become proficient at the electronic transactions of inventory movement.
