Seasonal Material Handler
About The Position
At District Photo, our employees are the heart of our company. We are seeking a seasonal Material Handler in our Beltsville factory. We are seeking three motivated and reliable Seasonal Material Handlers to join our team at the Beltsville factory. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The position offers competitive pay and the chance to contribute to our operational success during a busy seasonal period. The roles are available immediately and will last approximately 3 to 6 weeks, with shifts from 6pm to 6am, either Sunday through Friday or Monday through Saturday.
Requirements
- Flexibility to work the night shift, with shifts from 6pm to 6am, either Sunday through Friday or Monday through Saturday
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks consistently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to start immediately and commit to the duration of the assignment
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in material handling or manufacturing is a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist in the movement, loading, and unloading of materials within the factory
- Organize and store materials in designated areas to ensure efficient workflow
- Operate basic material handling equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times
- Support team members with various tasks as needed to meet production goals
