About The Position

Baldwin Richardson Foods is a full-service liquid products supplier and strategic partner to the food and beverage industry. They produce high-quality sauces, toppings, syrups, fillings, and shelf-stable beverages for Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs), Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) brands, and food service companies. The company also manufactures and markets Mrs. Richardson's dessert sauces and Nance's mustards/condiments, and produces finished goods for the private label sector. This role is located at their Macedon, NY facility and is on the 3rd shift (12:00 AM - 8:30 AM, Monday-Friday).

Requirements

  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Ability to obtain a Walk Behind Stacker License (employees will be certified through a training program)
  • Effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Willingness to offer suggestions on ways to improve assigned work.
  • Ability to follow and implement written or oral instructions.
  • Team player and constructive conflict management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform essential job duties with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to speak, read, write and interpret documents in English such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Walk Behind Stackers to receive and transfer interplant product, place product in staging locations, and move packages, raw materials and finished goods to designated holding locations.
  • Consult and coordinate with Production Supervisors and Line Leads to ensure all materials are moved on time to meet production schedules.
  • Operate walk behind stackers and other equipment following BRF safety procedures, maintaining awareness of pedestrian traffic, docks, and racking conditions.
  • Perform equipment inspection and document any deficiencies.
  • Inspect work area and maintain housekeeping to 5S, GMP and Food Safety standards.
  • Receive and transfer interplant product, locate product in staging locations, and move packaging, raw material and finished goods to holding locations per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Report any deficiencies that cannot be immediately corrected to Supervision.
  • Report and take actions required to correct or rework any damaged materials.
  • Participate in internal audit programs and offer suggestions for improved operations.
  • Consult and coordinate with Production Supervisor and Line Leads regarding weekly schedule and cook cards to guarantee all materials are provided to production as needed.
  • Utilize SAP to transact materials following appropriate processes (transfers, issues, returns, inventory adjustments).
  • Utilize stretch wrapper for finished goods, printing and labeling with correct handling unit (HU).
  • Help maintain case erectors on assigned lines with steady flow and cases.
  • Ensure material being wrapped meets quality requirements in codes and leaks of product.
  • File all job-related paperwork in accordance with department procedures.
  • Follow all BRF Safety procedures and GMPs.
  • Report all incidents/accidents to plant leaders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs, such as stacking cases.
  • Effectively communicate the needs of production lines to the warehouse team utilizing radios.
  • Support Inventory Control (IC), APO, and Plant Cleanliness roles.
