About The Position

The Material Handler is responsible for transferring work-in process (WIP) parts and delivering incoming raw materials and other goods as necessary to support production control and manufacturing. This role involves sorting materials, placing them in proper locations, and fulfilling orders from manufacturing and/or production control for delivery to the correct destination. The position also requires operating scanning equipment for material transfers and supporting the implementation and maintenance of Quality and Environmental Policies.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED
• Ability to exhibit organizational, interpersonal and mathematical skill level sets to successfully meet the requirements and expectations of this position
• Ability to operate appropriate equipment relevant to the material handling process
• Familiarity with related software applications, i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint..etc...

Nice To Haves

• Two (2) years related work experience preferred
• certification preferred
