About The Position
We are looking for an experienced, reliable, hard-working employee to join our client’s team as a Material Handler in the Northwest Houston area. This is a temp-to-hire position with a pay rate of $15-16/hour, working Monday through Thursday from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Requirements
- Bilingual English & Spanish
- Forklift/reach truck experience
- Must be able to pass a forklift driving test
- High School Diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, receiving, or material-handling experience
- Experience with inventory control and material movement
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts/reach trucks to safely move materials throughout the facility.
- Stage materials for manufacturing departments and production areas.
- Load, unload, transfer, and organize materials between departments.
- Count and verify inventory against work orders and packing lists.
- Scan and record material movements using handheld scanning equipment.
- Maintain inventory accuracy in the physical and electronic systems.
