About The Position

This role is responsible for stocking components and sub-assemblies at production lines, staging finished goods packaging containers, and routine removal of trash from production lines. The position also involves inventory accuracy, maintaining FIFO standards, operating to TPS Kanban standards, and performing inventory counts. Key duties include posting receipts and material transfers on the Mapics System, cross-training for assembly line support, learning documentation requirements and vendor packing list verification, and providing backup in receiving. The role also plays a key part in the company's housekeeping program.

Requirements

• High school diploma required

Responsibilities

• Stock all components and sub-assemblies at production lines
• Stage finished goods packaging containers at production lines
• Remove trash from production lines on a routine basis
• Be responsible and accountable for inventory accuracy
• Maintain company FIFO Standards
• Operate to TPS Kanban standards
• Perform inventory counts as requested
• Post receipts and material transfers on Mapics System
• Cross train and fill in on assembly lines as needed
• Learn documentation requirements and verification of vendor packing lists
• Backup material handling effort in receiving as needed
• Play key role on companies housekeeping program
