About The Position

The AZEK Company/TimberTech Wilmington division is seeking a Material Handler for our Prairie Avenue Facility. The Material Handler is responsible for the staging and movement of raw materials and finished products within the production environment. This is a high-energy, motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position reports to the Production Supervisor.

Requirements

Forklift Certification.
Meet qualification and certification requirements established by TimberTech’s Training Resources and Knowledge (TRAK) program.
Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
Ability to perform the physical demands of the job including: Push / Pull / Lift / Manipulate 10lbs – 100lbs.
Ability to stand for complete shift; kneeling, lifting overhead, bending climbing and crawling are often required.

Nice To Haves

1+ years of manufacturing experience, preferred.
Significant experience running an extrusion line.

Responsibilities

Contributes to accident-free operations and compliance to all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements and regulations.
Moves finished product for staging, packing, or shipping.
Completes daily duties in accordance with workplace organization and efficiency methodologies, such as TPM and 6S.
Gives production support in the staging of bins, skids, and raw materials.
Assists in recycling of cardboard and other waste products.
Performs daily maintenance check on forklift at the beginning of each shift before use.
Uses safe operating procedures while operating forklift.
Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management.
