About The Position

Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to join our team. This role is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the smooth flow of materials within our facility. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess a positive attitude, and be capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include managing inventory, locating and distributing materials, and operating essential equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form.
• Ability to understand safety requirements and cautions.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Must be able to operate a pallet jack (needs to be certified).

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory by labeling and placing material and supplies in stock.
• Record and keep track of inventory locations.
• Locate material and supplies from any area by pulling and verifying material and supplies list.
• Use a tablet and scanner for inventory management.
• Be accountable for material/supplies distribution and track material locations.
• Operate a pallet jack (requires certification).
• Load and unload materials and merchandise from AGVs, boxes, trays, and bins.
• Handle boxes that may weigh up to 60 lbs.
