About The Position

The Material Handler plays a crucial role in maintaining smooth production operations by managing inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels, and facilitating the timely delivery of materials to designated workstations. This position requires coordination with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules efficiently.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt and collaborate within a team-oriented environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Leads, team members, and Production Supervisor to determine daily production schedules and required materials/parts.
  • Verify and maintain inventory accuracy, including accurate part identification labels and quantities.
  • Delivery and stock materials at designated workstations to meet production schedules promptly.
  • Replenish stock levels as needed to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels, track inventories, and organize storage locations for efficient retrieval.
  • Maintain regular communication with Leads, Shipping & Receiving, and Production Management regarding inventory and production needs.
  • Assist with simple production tasks or assemblies as required by the team.
  • Offer recommendations for any necessary changes in schedules to optimize production efficiency.
  • Uphold quality and productivity standards while ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor to support operational needs.
