About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining product flow through the packaging process without operational interruptions, accurately filling and sealing all types of packaging, and performing heavy lifting. The position requires adherence to all company policies, including the Substance Abuse policy, and all safety and operational practices. The Material Handler will also participate in the ALL4Zero Safety Program, locate product safely and efficiently in the warehouse, notify supervisors of safety and product issues, and treat product to minimize damage. Additionally, the role includes housekeeping responsibilities for the work area and associated grounds, inspecting the warehouse for maintenance issues, and operating a forklift to move materials. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team is essential.

Requirements

Ability to maintain product flow through the packaging process without incurring any operational interruptions.
Ability to accurately fill and seal all types of packaging.
Ability to perform heavy lifting.
Ability to wear a respirator, hardhat, and safety glasses.
Ability to locate product safely and efficiently in the warehouse.
Ability to notify supervisor with safety issues.
Ability to notify supervisor of product issues.
Ability to treat product so as to minimize damage occurrences.
Ability to perform housekeeping at the work area and associated grounds.
Ability to work well with teams and alone.
Ability to inspect warehouse for maintenance issues and keep area clean and well maintained.
Ability to operate forklift to move material from one location to another.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
