About The Position

The Material Handler position in Warehouse 4 on the 2nd shift involves performing daily duties and tasks related to the loading and unloading of trucks, staging and pulling selected orders for daily shipments, and participating in general housekeeping as directed by management. This role requires proven experience as a forklift operator, the ability to unload materials or production from incoming vehicles and relocate them to proper destinations, and proficiency in using an RF scanner for picking, relocating, and production purposes. The handler will also locate, stack, or palletize finished goods for shipping, list production activity, log all completed tasks, and adhere to all safety policies and procedures dictated by the organization or state and local agencies, including identifying workplace hazards and optimizing loads for operational efficiency.

Requirements

Proven experience as a forklift operator
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Forklift certification
Excellent hand eye coordination
Good physical condition
Mathematical aptitude
Good organizational skills
Attention to detail
Good written and verbal communication

Responsibilities
