About The Position

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries and the largest manufacturer of tile and natural stone in the United States, is seeking an intermediate level Material Handler to join their TEAM. This role involves stocking, checking, wrapping, and loading/unloading materials. The work schedule is 7am-7pm on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator.
• 1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience.
• Minimum of 6 months previous stand-up forklift or order picker equipment experience.
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Good record keeping skills.
• Good listening skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English.
• Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner.

Nice To Haves

• No experience required for pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to packing station or shipping area.
• Operates forklift and/or crane equipment.
• Keys orders into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy.
• Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping area.
• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating procedures.
• Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules and reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to management.
• Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
• Operates wireless devices (tablet, scanners) and automated equipment.
• Conducts daily cycle counts.
• Performs receiving duties such as receive and unload inbound material.
• Performs other related duties as required.
