About The Position

This position reports to the Welding Supervisor and is responsible for the storage and transportation of parts, as well as the organization of parts in welding and welding stores areas. The role requires performing daily checks on the fork truck and associated paperwork, maintaining housekeeping in the weld stores area, and properly disposing of manufacturing waste. The Material Handler must also be able to gain knowledge of company products and comply with all quality, environmental, safety, and company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to operate a scanner to locate and transport appropriate materials to specified welding areas
• Ability to obtain JOST International Fork Truck Certification
• Ability to gain knowledge of company products
• Comply with quality, environmental, safety, and Jost company policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Locate and transport appropriate parts to specified areas
• Ensure all labels are visible and in legible condition
• Perform daily checks on fork truck and pertaining paperwork
• Maintain housekeeping in weld stores area and remove debris
• Place manufacturing waste/excess in appropriate containers
• Perform additional assigned duties that are logically and properly inherent to this position
