About The Position

This role involves leading a team in the warehouse, focusing on training and personal development within the shift. The Material Handler Team Leader will manage warehouse staff, materials, and equipment across various warehouse processes including receiving, storage, put away, picking, and shipping. Key responsibilities include ensuring knowledge and adherence to warehouse and plant standards, analyzing process deviations and KPIs, escalating issues to the shift supervisor, and training team members in standardized work. The role also involves supporting internal departments with tasks and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Successfully complete Company’s powered industrial equipment certification program.
• Capable of operating various types of powered industrial equipment.
• Demonstrate basic computer skills.
• Work flexible and overtime hours as necessary.

Nice To Haves

• Prior SAP knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in the warehouse, ensuring training and personal development within your shift.
• Manage warehouse staff, materials, and equipment assigned to different processes (receiving, storage, put away, picking, and shipping).
• Ensure knowledge and adherence to warehouse and plant standards.
• Analyze deviations in processes, KPIs, and/or standards within the area of responsibility.
• Ensure deviations are properly escalated to the shift supervisor.
• Responsible for managing team members in the shift.
• Train team in standardized work.
• Support internal departments in tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
