Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two to four years related experience or equivalent
  • Knowledge of material handling practices and procedures
  • Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates

  • Basic competence in subordinates’ duties and tasks
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts and physical inventories, and reconcile discrepancies using ERP/WMS systems.
  • Order materials needed for upcoming orders.
  • Verify delivery documentation and inspect incoming shipments for damage.
  • Ensure outgoing orders are accurately packed, weighed, and accompanied by correct Bills of Lading (BOLs).
  • Organize warehouse layout for efficient storage.
  • Troubleshoot bottlenecks and collaborate with purchasing, transportation, and customer service departments.
  • Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse staff.
  • Assign tasks such as picking, packing, loading, and unloading.
  • Ensure raw materials are continuously supplied to the production floor.
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety guidelines.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and material-handling equipment like forklifts.
