Requirements

Typically requires 3+ year(s) of related experience.
3+ years of distribution/warehouse experience preferred; internals must have at least 6 months of service to qualify
Strong understanding of distribution center process and procedures
Must be a positive change team member that demonstrates passion and commitment to the success of the team and individuals
Must have a positive attitude, be quality driven, organized, punctual, committed, self-motivated and have an excellent attendance record
Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality; self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision; strong adherence to established procedures and safety protocols; comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Nice To Haves

Experience or exposure to sortation practices preferred
Power Equipment experience preferred. If no experience, location is willing to train, but, must be able to maintain certifications
Familiarity with RF scanner and warehouse management systems preferred

Responsibilities

Receives, checks, counts, verifies, and audits accuracy of materials received against packing slips or other documentation, reports discrepancies.
Inspects shipments for damages, shortages, overages, proper product identification; records data on shipping documents or computer system.
Sorts, labels, routes, unpacks, packages, and distributes incoming material to proper departments.
Verifies accuracy of material requested with information in computer system.
Processes returns, credits, and corrections.
Picks and/or pulls orders using RF Scanner.
Packs and prepares finished orders for delivery to customers.
Maintains all paperwork related to the above duties including but not limited to work tickets, pick lists, shipping documents, etc.
Performs other material handling functions as assigned and other duties as assigned by leader
