As a Shipping Material Handler, you'll be responsible for preparing, packaging, and shipping finished products while ensuring inventory accuracy, proper documentation, and on-time deliveries.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials throughout the workday
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to shipping accuracy
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of shipping, warehouse, logistics, material handling, or related experience

Nice To Haves

• Experience using inventory or ERP systems is preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Pick, verify, package, and prepare finished products for shipment according to customer and company requirements
• Generate shipping labels, packing lists, and required shipping documentation
• Verify shipment accuracy against work orders, customer orders, and packing instructions
• Coordinate shipments with carriers and schedule pickups as needed
• Maintain accurate inventory by processing shipping transactions in the inventory management system
• Ensure products are properly packaged, labeled, and handled to prevent damage during transit
• Organize and stage outgoing shipments for efficient loading and delivery
• Support cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area
• Follow company procedures, quality standards, and safety guidelines while meeting shipping deadlines
