Material Handler Shipping and Receiving 2nd Shift
About The Position
This role is for a Material Handler in a plastic manufacturing warehouse environment, specifically for the 2nd shift. The position requires the ability to use a computer and/or scanner to create shipping documents and reports, as well as handle email correspondence. Responsibilities include storing, preparing, and shipping finished goods, operating a forklift, wrapper, and other machinery, and generating documents for order fulfillment and customer shipments. The role also involves pulling materials from various locations based on paperwork and completing required documentation according to process.
Requirements
- Ability to use a computer and/or scanner.
- Ability to create shipping documents and reports.
- Ability to support email correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Ability to operate a forklift, wrapper, and other machinery.
- Ability to pull material from various locations based on paperwork.
- Ability to complete paperwork as required.
Responsibilities
- Use a computer and/or scanner to create shipping documents and reports in the shipping module.
- Support email correspondence.
- Store, prepare, and ship finished goods as required.
- Operate a forklift, wrapper, and other machinery as required.
- Create documents to pull material for orders and shipping parts to customers using the shipping module on the computer.
- Pull material from various locations based on paperwork generated by hand and/or by forklift.
- Complete paperwork as required, filling out documentation per the process.
