About The Position
This role is responsible for supporting production needs by ensuring all material, product, and waste are in their proper locations. The Material Handler Press will operate a lift truck safely, utilize hot side scales for weight counts, and make plex entries for accurate inventory. Key duties include delivering correct materials to production lines, removing excess waste, monitoring bowl feeder levels, conducting daily sample weight verification, and ensuring tubs are empty to prevent steel issues. The position also assists with 5S initiatives and changes out graphite totes as needed.

- Much forklift experience required

Responsibilities
- Operate a lift truck in a safe manner within the manufacturers design parameters while being alert of pedestrians and the surroundings
- Supports production needs, ensuring all material product, and waste are in proper locations
- Utilize hot side scales for adequate weight counts
- Makes plex entrees for accurate inventory
- Delivers the correct material to each production line
- Removes excess waste to proper locations
- Monitors bowl feeder levels, reheats and waste levels.
- Conducts daily sample weight verification
- Places all material in proper locations
- Ensures all tubs being used are empty to prevent any steel issues
- Helps assist with 5S
- Changing out of graphite totes as needed
