About The Position

Entegris is currently seeking a Material Handler, Packaging for our Decatur, TX facility. This role includes the packaging, labeling and boxing tasks to effectively package in accordance to the documented Packaging Work Instructions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb a ladder up to 15 ft. and walk and stand during entire shift.
  • Astute attention to detail to drive safety and quality.
  • Ability to perform visual checks and handle materials responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Possess math and precision measurement skills and able to read machine drawings.
  • Abiulity to read and understand documented processes and procedures.
  • Dependability with flexibility to work shifts, overtime, and weekends to support business needs.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background check.
  • Punctuality and reliability.
  • Candidate must have the capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws.

Nice To Haves

  • A year manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Work any shift as required to meet business needs.
  • Experience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble empty box.
  • Check and verify the quality of packaging materials, including labels, seals, and other components, to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Fills, secures, and labels containers according to company and/or customer specifications.
  • Complete packaging requirements on open work orders.
  • Scan the work order information into the label software and generate the required number of labels.
  • Tape the box closed and place on pallet.
  • Complete the required accountability and signature section on the process record document.
  • Operate a forklift.
  • Maintain inventory of packaging supplies.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines to consistently.
  • May be tasked with preventative maintenance, housekeeping or other duties.
