About The Position

Entegris is currently seeking a Material Handler, Packaging for our Decatur, TX facility. This role includes the packaging, labeling and boxing tasks to effectively package in accordance to the documented Packaging Work Instructions.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb a ladder up to 15 ft. and walk and stand during entire shift.
Astute attention to detail to drive safety and quality.
Ability to perform visual checks and handle materials responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Possess math and precision measurement skills and able to read machine drawings.
Abiulity to read and understand documented processes and procedures.
Dependability with flexibility to work shifts, overtime, and weekends to support business needs.
Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background check.
Punctuality and reliability.
Candidate must have the capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws.

Nice To Haves

A year manufacturing experience preferred.
Work any shift as required to meet business needs.
Experience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment a plus.

Responsibilities

Assemble empty box.
Check and verify the quality of packaging materials, including labels, seals, and other components, to ensure they meet specifications.
Fills, secures, and labels containers according to company and/or customer specifications.
Complete packaging requirements on open work orders.
Scan the work order information into the label software and generate the required number of labels.
Tape the box closed and place on pallet.
Complete the required accountability and signature section on the process record document.
Operate a forklift.
Maintain inventory of packaging supplies.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines to consistently.
May be tasked with preventative maintenance, housekeeping or other duties.
