Material Handler - Level 2-1403
About The Position
This role is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming materials, as well as picking and packing materials for the production line. The Material Handler will also maintain accurate inventory records, operate material handling equipment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve material-related issues. Additionally, the role involves preparing, packaging, and shipping outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation, and adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations. The position requires the ability to lift 25 pounds and work mandatory overtime, including weekends.
Requirements
- 1-2 Years’ Experience in Logistics or Relevant Functions in Integration Supply Chain
- Computer Literacy Specifically with SAP and Microsoft Applications
- Good Oral and Written Communication Skills
- Strong Work Ethic and Initiative to Learn Processes
- Analyze, Incorporate and Apply New Information and Concepts
- Complete Work, Follow Up and Appropriate Reporting on Responsibilities
- Focus on Important Information and Identify Key Details
- Be able to lift 25 pounds for job responsibilities.
- Able to work mandatory OT as required, including weekends.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials according to established procedures.
- Pick and pack materials to deliver to the production line.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and regular Cycle Counts.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for >= 60% of work hours.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any material-related issues.
- Prepare, package and ship outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations.
